“The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams”

– Eleanor Roosevelt

Hi,

The theme for our recent hackathon was “Vision 2025” – building something that will be relevant and useful in three years’ time. Lots of great ideas – many around Web3, voice-based and multi-device interactions and connecting multiple services through APIs for powerful solutions.

I don’t know about you, but I get excited about fancy new ideas.

And then I have to stop myself.

I have to question: Will we lose diamonds in search of gold? Will chasing a new opportunity distract us from what’s already working well? Eventually, proving to be a bad choice?

Yes, I do chase shiny objects from time to time, but challenging myself with gold (valuable) vs diamond (already working, can be more valuable) has helped me a lot.

If you’re searching for futuristic opportunities, take a pause. Can you use what you already have for better results?

For example, how would you use email marketing better?

Let’s grab some diamonds.

Build a solid foundation for success

We often set big hairy audacious goals but forget working on the foundation. 😌

Here are ten things you can do today with the Email Subscribers plugin that will certainly bring you success over time.

  1. Subscription box: Are you neglecting your web visitors? Attract, provide value and convert them via an email opt-in subscription box.
  2. Welcome emails: Welcome emails bridge the gap between your brand and your audience. Engage readers with an automated welcome email today.
  3. Sequences: Take your best content / ideas, and set up an email sequence with specific time intervals. This is the best one time effort that will continue yielding forever.
  4. Automatic post notifications: We spend a lot of time creating good content. But never enough on distribution. Try configuring an automatic post notification email so readers get your blog post in email. If you blog often, you can also send a weekly summary to a certain group of audiences.
  5. Recover abandoned carts: Using WooCommerce? Then don’t leave the money on the table. Send abandoned carts recovery email and win back customers.
  6. Blog comments to leads: Getting comments? You can easily turn commenters into newsletter subscribers – it’s just one tick in settings.
  7. Send coupons to product reviewers: Encourage reviewers by automatically sending a discount code using a “Workflow”.
  8. Newsletter archive: Gain SEO benefits & create credibility by showing a newsletter archive.
  9. List segmentation: People unsubscribe due to non-relevant and frequent emails. Craft interest-based emails and target them to a specific segment – instead of the whole list.
  10. Power of integration: Email Subscribers and Newsletters plugin integrates flawlessly with many popular plugins/themes/ESPs. Leverage the power of email marketing.

All of these ten methods will drive good results and are achievable. Some features are available in the paid version of the plugin.

But if you’re reading this, are currently on the free version and want to try premium, reply to this email and ask for a 14 day trial. We can easily arrange for it.
