“Slug it out one inch at a time, day by day…at the end of the day… if you live long enough… most people get what they deserve.”

– Charlie Munger

Hello,

My last email created some stir…

Many people confessed that they’re neglecting autoresponder sequences. Some even said they know the “secret is in the list” mantra for a decade and still haven’t worked on building a solid audience.

You already have a paid plan for Email Subscribers and all the awesome features that come with it.

I hope you’ve created – at least one – autoresponder sequence within Email Subscribers. If not, today’s the perfect time to do it. You can refer to my recommendations in the last email, and our documentation about autoresponders here if you need.

If you still have any questions, reply to this email and ask.

You know we’re here to support you, right?

Good.

Now to the next topic.

Are you coming to WordCamp Europe?

WordCamps and other conferences are a great way to meet fellow WordPressers, learn and have a good time. WordCamp Europe is happening in Porto, Portugal over 2-4 June – and it’s a large physical event after a long time.

I’ll be there – and would love to meet you in person if you can make it. Reply to this email and let me know.

We’ll be on a family vacation in Europe for almost 40 days. We’re doing Spain, Italy and Germany this time. So if you can’t make it to the WordCamp, but would like to meet somewhere else, reply to this email as well.

15 most-valuable life lessons

Robin Sharma – the famed author of “The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari” shared his most valuable life lessons recently. They can all have a profound impact on how we live our lives. So I’m including them here verbatim.

  1. Excellent things happen to people who do excellent things.
  2. Morning exercise is a game-changer.
  3. The things that are hardest to do are the things that are generally the wisest to do.
  4. Words can help others grow. Or hurt people’s hearts.
  5. Creativity shines brightest when we are alone. Make time for silence, stillness and solitude.
  6. Education is inoculation against disruption. Read for an hour each day to protect your hope, refine your craft and grow your knowledge.
  7. The fears you don’t face become your walls. And doubts are destroyed by strong action.
  8. What hurts us can help us. Leverage hardship to reclaim your natural heroism.
  9. Cheap costs more.
  10. The game of leadership is helpfulness.
  11. Mastery takes massive practice, unrelenting patience and vast devotion. It’s a very difficult obsession. And one of the best commitments you can make.
  12. An amazing family life sets you up for a glorious business life.
  13. Keep your promises. Never lie. Outwork your peers. Deliver beautiful value. People watch what you do. Even if you think they don’t.
  14. You can’t inspire others if you are uninspired. Actively work to keep your enthusiasm and inner fire high. Be with art. Go to conferences. Travel. Explore.
  15. Life can change in a day. Savor the blessings of this moment. Even if you’re going through a trial, you still have much to be grateful for.

Wow! These are worth framing! 💖
