The good old days are now.

Tom Hiddleston

Hi there,

A thought I couldn’t stop thinking about this week…

If a genie suddenly appeared in front of you right now and offered you one wish…

What would you ask for?

Take a second. Think about it.

So… when we were younger, our wishes were usually about the future.

A job, a business, our own money, freedom, growing up, being successful, getting somewhere.

Becoming someone.

Most of us spent years wanting to reach this stage of life.

And yet…

If that same genie appeared today, I don’t think many of us would ask for another promotion.

Or a bigger house, or even more money.

I think a lot of us would ask for something much simpler.

One evening back, summer vacation, family dinner, one healthy conversation or one moment with people who are no longer around.

One day where everyone was together and nobody knew how quickly life would change.

And isn’t that strange?

We spent years wanting to get here.

And now we’d give almost anything to visit a few moments from back then.

That’s the irony.

Not because we want our old life back.

But because we didn’t know those ordinary moments would become precious memories.

Which makes me wonder…

How many moments are we living right now that we’ll someday wish we could revisit?

Maybe more than we think.

Sometimes we’re so busy chasing what’s next that we forget we are already living a life we once wished for… don’t you think?

Btw a small reminder from the present…

Talking about appreciating what we already have…

Are your plugins updated?

Every few weeks, our team ships improvements, bug fixes, optimizations and new features for all our Icegram products.

But they only help if you’re actually running the latest version.

So if it’s been a while since you’ve checked, maybe give it a quick look today.

And always remember to keep all your plugins and products updated.

Speaking of genies… 🧞

While writing this email, I suddenly remembered how obsessed we were with genies as kids.

One wish. Problem solved. Life sorted. Simple.

And honestly?

That memory made me smile because we’ve been working on something inside Icegram Express that keeps reminding me of exactly that feeling.

I can’t tell you what it is yet. 🤐

Not today.

But let’s just say…

You might feel like you’ve finally found your genie.

Maybe not for life.

But definitely for work.

That’s your hint.

Keep an eye on your emails and I’ll reveal it super soonnn…

This is fun…

Here’s a riddle for you:

I lived inside your school bag.

I carried your dreams, doodles, plans, secrets, and sometimes notes that definitely weren’t related to studying.

You probably haven’t used me in years.

But there’s a good chance you still haven’t thrown me away.

What am I?

(Answer at the end of this email)

Before I go…

I have one question for you.

And I’d genuinely love to know your answer.

What’s one thing you used to do as a kid that you wish you still did today?

Not a place. Not a possession. A thing.

An activity. Maybe reading without checking your phone, drawing, cycling, sitting with friends and talking for hours, being curious about everything.

Whatever it is, try doing a little bit of it this week.

Not because it will make you more productive, help your career, or because it’s a life hack.

Just because somewhere along the way, that version of you enjoyed it.

And maybe that reason is enough.

Riddle Answer: A notebook.

Until next time,
