Show Another Message on CTA Click in Icegram Engage

Trigger a follow-up popup, feedback form, or confirmation message when a visitor clicks a call-to-action button in Icegram Engage.

Multi-step campaigns (or two-step opt-ins) break conversion into micro-commitments. For example, a small floating bar can invite visitors to claim a free guide; clicking the button opens a full opt-in popup modal.

Steps to Chain Messages

  1. In your WordPress dashboard, go to Icegram Engage → Campaigns and edit your campaign.

  2. Ensure your campaign contains at least two messages (e.g., Message A: Action Bar, Message B: Popup).

  3. In Message A’s editor, navigate to the Call to Action (CTA) section.

  4. In the Button Action dropdown, select Show another message.

  5. A secondary dropdown will appear listing other messages in your campaign. Select Message B.

  6. Save and publish your campaign.
