How to Schedule Workflow Emails with Delay

Pro

Schedule and delay workflow emails in Icegram Express to deliver drip content at custom time intervals.

Scheduling workflow emails with a delay allows you to send timely follow-up messages automatically—such as sending an onboarding guide 24 hours after signup, or a special coupon 7 days after purchase.

How to Set Up Timed Workflow Delays

  1. In your WordPress admin, go to Icegram Express > Workflows.

  2. Click Add New or edit an existing workflow.

  3. In the right-hand settings panel, locate the Timing section.

  4. Choose between:

    • Run Immediately: Triggers the action the moment the event occurs.
    • Delayed: Specify a custom delay duration (e.g., 1 hour, 3 days, or 1 week after the trigger).

  5. Save the workflow.

When the event occurs, Icegram Express queues the scheduled email in the background and releases it precisely when the delay expires.
