How to Display Past Newsletters in a Public Archive

Showcase previously sent newsletters and campaigns on any WordPress page using the Icegram Express Campaign Archive block or shortcode.

Publishing a public archive of past newsletters on your website provides search engine optimization (SEO) benefits, demonstrates the value of your content to new visitors, and encourages website readers to subscribe.

Adding the Campaign Archive Block in Gutenberg

You can insert the Campaign Archive directly into any WordPress post or page using the native Block Editor.

In your WordPress admin dashboard, navigate to Pages → Add New (or edit an existing archive page).
In the block editor, click the + (Add Block) button and search for Campaign Archive.
Click the block to insert it into your layout canvas. A live preview of your most recently sent campaigns will render immediately.
With the block selected, open the Block Settings panel on the right sidebar to customize display parameters:
- Campaign Type: Choose whether to display Broadcast newsletters, Post Notification digests, or both.
- Number of Campaigns: Specify the maximum number of past emails to list per page.
- List Filter: Restrict the archive to campaigns dispatched to specific public subscriber lists.
- Show Date: Toggle whether the original dispatch date appears next to each campaign title.
Click Publish or Update to make your archive public.

Using the Shortcode Fallback

If you build pages using the Classic Editor or third-party page builders (such as Elementor, Divi, or Beaver Builder), use the shortcode fallback:

Shortcode Attributes

You can filter and control the archive output using shortcode attributes:

[email-subscribers-archive type="newsletter" limit="10" show_date="yes"]

type: Accepts newsletter (broadcasts), notification (post alerts), or all (default).
limit: Number of items to display (default is 10).
show_date: Set to yes or no to display or hide send timestamps.
