How to Show an Icegram Engage Message on Exit Intent

Detect when desktop visitors are about to close the tab or navigate away, and trigger a last-chance offer or lead capture popup.

Exit Intent technology detects cursor movement heading toward the browser’s close button, URL address bar, or back button. Right as the visitor prepares to leave your website, Icegram Engage launches a targeted offer to recover the abandonment.

Steps to Enable Exit Intent

  1. In your WordPress dashboard, go to Icegram Engage → Campaigns and edit your campaign.

  2. Navigate to the When (Display Rules) section in the campaign editor.

  3. Under the Show Trigger dropdown, select Exit Intent.

  4. Configure your targeting rules (such as targeting checkout or cart pages), then click Update.
