Including a clear, functional unsubscribe link in every marketing email is mandatory under global privacy laws (CAN-SPAM, GDPR) and is critical for maintaining sender reputation and deliverability.

Unsubscribe Links in Broadcasts & Post Notifications

By default, Icegram Express automatically appends an unsubscribe link and compliance footer to all outgoing broadcast and post notification emails.

To customize the unsubscribe footer text:

  1. In your WordPress admin, go to Icegram Express > Settings > General.

  2. Scroll to the field labeled Show unsubscribe message in email footer.

  3. Customize the text and link wording as desired.

  4. Click Save Settings.

Unsubscribe Links in Welcome & Workflow Emails

If you compose custom welcome emails or automated drip workflows, ensure the unsubscribe merge tag is included in your email template body:
